Opposition period

2 months from the date of advertisement in the Trade Marks Journal. It can be extended by one month if a notice of threatened opposition (form TM7A) is filed within the first two months.

Local representative

A valid address for service in the UK is needed for official post. Gibraltar and the Channel Islands addresses are also accepted.
